About ISDDE
ISDDE was launched in 2005 with the goals of improving the design and development process; building a design community; and increasing the impact of professional design expertise on educational practice (see www.isdde.org). ISDDE is chaired by Professor Hugh Burkhardt, University of Nottingham, Hugh.Burkhardt@nottingham.ac.uk.
ISDDE 2009 will be open for all designers, researchers and curriculum leaders who feel affinity with the goals of the society. The number of participants will be limited to 100. This conference will bring together outstanding designers, design project leaders and curriculum innovators from around the world, including the US, the UK, Australia, Japan and the Netherlands, together with a few people from the agencies which commission or support such work. We wish to include designers from developing countries and welcome help in identifying such people.
